At Leap Ahead Learning we pride ourselves on giving your pre-school and early years of primary school child the best foundations in literacy, numeracy and social skills education. Our specialised and structured program teaches your child the fundamentals in reading, writing, fine motor, handwriting, maths and social skills, preparing them for, and giving them an advantage at school and in life.

OUR EXPERTISE
Our founder and director, Keryn Johnson, is a registered teacher with a Bachelor of Primary Teaching and a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood. She holds a Certificate in Specific Learning Difficulties, a Certificate IV in Small Business Management and is trained in Cued Articulation. Keryn is also currently training as a Speech Pathologist. She has 30 years of teaching experience, specialising in literacy and the early years of schooling. Keryn has taught in private, Catholic and government schools and also has experience working as an Educational Consultant and an Occupational Therapy Aide. Keryn has training and experience with Dyslexia, Reading Recovery, Reading Intervention, oral language and speech development, autism and special needs. Keryn's family heritage is Aboriginal and she incorporates strong Indigenous teachings alongside sustainability and well-being into the daily program.
